Dr. Joseph Pantaleo

Dr. Joe is a dentist, master dental technician, humanitarian, and nonprofit founder whose work stands at the intersection of clinical excellence, innovation, and global impact. Educated at St. Francis Prep, St. Francis College, the NYU College of Dentistry, and Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, he has built a career defined by precision, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to advancing the standard of care. With a rare foundation spanning both dentistry and laboratory craftsmanship, Dr. Joe brings an exceptional level of artistry, technical mastery, and vision to every aspect of his work, earning recognition as a trusted leader among patients, peers, and industry partners alike.
Driven by a pursuit of excellence, Dr. Joe continues to invest deeply in the future of dentistry through advanced continuing education, completing more than 30 continuing education credits annually, while also collaborating with companies to refine products, improve design, and influence the evolution of modern dental care. His professional work is distinguished not only by the quality of treatment he delivers, but by the larger perspective he brings to the profession: one rooted in innovation, integrity, and a constant desire to shape what comes next.
Beyond the operatory, Dr. Joe has emerged as a transformative force in service and global leadership. Through Tomorrow’s Smile Today, the nonprofit he founded, he has developed a formal partnership with the government of Kenya and helped lead life-changing initiatives ranging from the creation of the first-ever dental unit in the region he serves to the development of a maternity ward, clean water project, and wheelchair initiative for underserved communities. In recognition of his impact, he was inducted into the St. Francis Prep Hall of Fame in 2023 and named NYU’s 2024 Changemaker of the Year, honors that reflect a career devoted not only to excellence in dentistry, but to meaningful leadership on a local, national, and global scale.
