A Letter From Dr. Joe Pantaleo
Dear Dental Family,
When Lori and I came to Long Island in 2020, we never could have imagined what this practice would become today: a true dental home and a community filled with love, trust, and support.
Many of you know that I took over the practice of Dr. Vincent Mazurek. Dr. Mazurek built an incredible dental family, and I made a promise to him — and to all of you — that I would continue that legacy. Together, we have kept that hometown dental feel while growing into something even stronger. Everything we have built in this office has been because of you. Your trust, loyalty, and support have challenged me to become a better person and a better dentist every day.
As many of you know, Lori has stepped away from the office for now as she pursues her dream of becoming a dental hygienist. I am so proud of her and hopeful that she will return in the future. At the same time, this season has reminded me how important it is to have the right people around me to continue serving this community at the highest level.
I am incredibly grateful for our team — Allan, Allie, Hailey, and Dr. Beck — who have been such an important part of this practice and of your care. Because of them, and because of all of you, we are able to continue building something very special here.
With that in mind, I am excited to introduce Dr. Bryan Tamburro as my partner in this next chapter of the practice.
From the moment I met Dr. Bryan, I knew he was someone special. He brings the same warmth, compassion, and commitment to quality that I believe every patient deserves. He is an exceptionally talented dentist who shares my philosophy of comprehensive, hands-on care and truly values building lasting relationships with patients. I know he will add so much to the home we have created together.
Most importantly, I want you to know that I am not going anywhere. I will continue to be a major part of the practice and will be in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. This new partnership allows me to continue caring for you while also dedicating time to my non-profit, Tomorrow’s Smile Today, and my dental lab.
I am also excited to share that our office name is changing to North Shore Dentists of Smithtown. This reflects our continued growth and our commitment to strengthening this practice for the future. We will now be open five days a week, and as we continue to grow, we will keep you informed of improvements that help us better serve you and your families.
Thank you for your trust, your support, and for allowing us to be part of your lives. It is an honor to care for you, and I am so excited for you to meet Dr. Bryan and be part of this next chapter with us.
With gratitude,
Dr. Joe
